1. What Are Cookies?

Analytics cookies let a website owner see how many people visit, which pages they read, roughly where they are in the world, and how they move around the site. The purpose is to understand what is useful and what needs improving, not to identify individuals.

As of the date at the top of this page, no analytics service is installed on this website, so no analytics cookies are being set.

An analytics tool may be added in future. If that happens, this section will be updated to name the provider, describe what it collects, and link to that provider’s own privacy information. We will not run an analytics service while telling you here that we do not.

7. Advertising Cookies

Advertising cookies are set by ad networks to decide which ads to display, to limit how often you see the same ad, and to measure whether ads were viewed or clicked. Some of them are also used for personalized advertising, which means selecting ads based on browsing behaviour over time.

This website does not currently display advertising, and no advertising cookies are being set by us or on our behalf.

The site may carry advertising in future to cover its running costs. If it does, this section will be updated to name the advertising network, explain how it uses cookies, link to its privacy policy, and set out the choices available to you, including any consent banner required in your region.

8. Third-Party Cookies

A third-party cookie is one set by a domain other than the website you are visiting, usually because the page includes something from another company, such as an analytics script, an advertisement or an embedded video.

We do not currently embed third-party analytics, advertising, social media or video scripts on this site, so third-party cookies should not be set while you use it. The exception is infrastructure-level cookies that a hosting or security provider may set as part of delivering the site safely.

If you follow a link from here to another website, that site can set its own cookies once you arrive. We have no control over those cookies, and the other site’s own cookie and privacy policies will apply.

Browsing in a private or incognito window is another simple option, since cookies from that session are discarded when you close the window. On a phone, the same settings are usually inside the browser app rather than in your device settings.

10. Changes to This Cookie Policy

This policy may be updated if the website changes, if a new service such as analytics or advertising is introduced, or if the law changes.

When it is updated, the revised version replaces this one on this page and the dates at the top are changed. Any new category of cookie that comes into use will be described in its own section here, and reflected in our Privacy Policy as well.
